​​Lava Bai is a professional Sound Healer, Recording Artist, Author, Speaker, and Facilitator. As a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner with the Centers for Spiritual Living, she holds certifications in multiple modalities, including Sound Healing, Drum Circle Facilitation, Laughter Yoga, Therapeutic Gong Technique, and Healing Music Facilitation. Additionally, she is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) and a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). Lava integrates her extensive training and experience to create powerful and memorable experiences for her clients.

Early Spiritual Influences
Raised in a richly diverse environment of religion, philosophy, and spirituality, Lava’s upbringing included Sundays in the Catholic Church or the AME with her grandmothers; weekends with Southern Baptist relatives, weekdays at the Christian Science Reading Room, and afternoons learning Red Road spirituality with her Nana. Her Other Nana was raised as a Jehovah’s Witnesses, and she spent many days observing her conversations with visiting Witnesses and reading their "Awake! magazine. Lava grew up listening to her father's in-depth discussions about metaphysicians Edgar Cayce and Joseph Campbell; and throughout her formative years studied the traditions and practices of Jewish traditions, the Quakers, and the Shakers.

Naturally drawn to metaphysics, Lava enjoys podcasts on Spirituality, Meditation, and Sound Healing. Her organic style of playing features mystical undertones of the Ancient Wisdom of Sound Healing. Influenced by artists like Miles Davis, Imee Ooi, Phoebe Snow, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Earth, Wind & Fire, Lava credits her technique to Divine guidance, which attunes her to healing, peace, and expanded consciousness. Specializing in meditations that integrate wellness for the mind, body, and spirit, music and sound vibration are her passion.

Discovery and Mastery of Singing Crystal Bowls
Lava’s encounter with the Singing Crystal Bowls was life-shifting, uniting her musical background, intuition, and compassion to create powerfully organic and ambient soundscapes. Her meditations and wellness services now include Gongs, Tibetan Bowls, Native American Flutes, and a wide array of percussion instruments, all integrated into her Sound Spas and Sound Journeys. She has recorded two albums: “Anussatti: Journey to the Temple” and “The Message.”
