In the style of traditional shamans and many indigenous world cultures, Lava Bai creates gentle sound baths for the soul. She provides a soundtrack for tranquility that is relaxing, inspiring, motivational and thought provoking. Lava's sounds are ideal for personal meditation and professional practitioners. Many classify this music as New Age, but these are the sounds of the Old Age . Lava combines the elements of traditional music: drone, rhythm, and harmony which creates dynamic sound vibrations of sonic tempo and texture. Lava's sound is a stimulating, ambient groove that is calming, unintrusive and fits in so well to the soundscapes of your life.
Lava is a certified Healing Drum facilitator. Many of the adult drum circles begin and end with Lava's powerful Healing Bowl Concerts. She facilitates drum circles for adults and children. In her circles, we experience the healing power of community and connection. High energy and interactive, Lava's drum circles include song, dance, story telling, and various musical instruments.. In Lava's circles, everyone has an opportunity to shine. She builds a sense of community where people connect through rhythm.
The children's drum circles are a joy to behold. Lava creates a lasting and memorable moment in her children's circle, "Reading, wRiting and aRhytmetic-©". Supported by the parents and older children on the outside of the circle, kids enjoy the community environment of playing their instrument and interacting with the group. Lava leads the children through magical folkloric tales where their instruments become the voices of the characters and soundtrack for the stories. The children quickly learn basic musical rhythms for the grand finale where they become a "Live" rhythm band, texturing Lava's original flute compositions . The children's eyes, smiles and enthusiasm are electric as they feel the power of the interactive connection.
